Peach Pied Peafowl
Juvenile Peach Pied Peafowl are a creamy peach and tan bird with pied (white) markings. Peach Pied Peacocks have a reddish brown head and a peach colored body, and lighter wings and tail feathers. Peahens are light peach blending into a light, creamy tan color. Peach Pied peachicks are a light peach color.
'Pied' means 'white marking'. The Pied pattern can occur in almost all varieties of peafowl.
These birds are not pinioned and can fly. To request that a wing be clipped, please call our office at (800) 456-3280. Please note, even with their wing clipped, peafowl can jump 8 feet in the air.
